Terms of Service

Welcome to Foreword (hereinafter, "the Service", "we" or "our"). Foreword is a platform that aggregates metrics from various services (Stripe, Google Analytics, YouTube, Shopify, LinkedIn, among others) to provide personalized daily briefings.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

Foreword provides a data aggregation service that:

• Connects with third-party APIs that you explicitly authorize
• Collects and processes metrics from those services
• Generates summarized daily briefings
• Sends email notifications (if enabled)
• Detects significant changes in your metrics

Important: Foreword is an informational and convenience tool. We are not a financial, accounting, or advisory service of any kind.

To use the Service, you must create an account providing truthful and up-to-date information. Currently, registration is done exclusively through Google authentication (OAuth).

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You agree to use the Service legally and ethically. The following is prohibited:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempting to access other users' accounts
• Interfering with the operation of the Service
• Reverse engineering the software
• Reselling or redistributing the Service without authorization
• Using the Service to send spam or malicious content

Foreword offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize recurring charges according to your chosen plan
• You can cancel at any time from your control panel
• Cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are given for partial periods

We reserve the right to modify prices with 30 days prior notice.

The use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data as described in that policy.

Third-party service access tokens are stored encrypted and never shared with third parties.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Foreword and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Your data remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

Foreword does not guarantee:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The accuracy or completeness of the data displayed
• That third-party data will always be available
• The detection of all incidents or changes in your metrics

In no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses resulting from use of the Service.

Business decisions made based on the data presented are the sole responsibility of the user. Always verify information at the original sources before making important decisions.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Foreword from any claim, damage, obligation, loss, liability, cost, or debt arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of third-party rights

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a prominent notice in the Service.

Continued use of the Service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms
• You make fraudulent use of the Service
• Required by a legal order

You can delete your account at any time from the Service settings.

These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain.
